Agentic development is changing how BI and analytics work gets done – from semantic models to reports to full data platforms. But most guidance out there is either too abstract or too tool-specific to be useful.

This is the first session in a webinar series, based on our blog series on agentic development for BI. Eugene Meidinger, Innovation Specialist, and Greg Baldini, Core Developer, walk through what agentic development looks like in practice, and what you need to understand to use it well.

In this introductory session, you'll see:

  • Real examples of agentic development – from a single model change to multi-agent, end-to-end BI projects
  • A walkthrough of a documentation workflow, a troubleshooting workflow, and a report-build workflow, all done with agents
  • An introduction to the five building blocks of effective agentic development: model, context, prompt, tools, and environment
  • What's realistic to expect in terms of time savings, risk, and where things can go wrong

This session sets the stage. Follow-up sessions will go deeper into the decisions you need to make and why they matter for BI work specifically, expanding on the topics we're covering in the blog series.
