Head of Knowledge & Innovation

Kurt Buhler is Head of Knowledge & Innovation at Tabular Editor, where he helps users build better semantic models, faster. Whether it's teaching best practices, creating training content, or breaking down complex topics, his focus is on making data modeling with Tabular Editor both approachable and effective. Outside of his work on semantic models, Kurt runs Data Goblins, where he partners with teams to solve real-world BI challenges, translating deep technical knowledge into practical solutions that drive business value.

Before stepping into the world of data, he earned a PhD in biomedical sciences from KU Leuven, studying the genetic regulation of insulin. When he’s not wrangling data, Kurt enjoys spending time with his family and getting lost in elaborate Dungeons & Dragons campaigns.
